I built the monitor I needed.

Self soothing. Sleep training. A baby monitor that died, or lost connection. A noise machine that ran all night, long after the baby was asleep.

So I built Plinco. The phone by the crib listens for crying, plays a lullaby first, and calls me if that isn’t enough. The white noise stops once the room is quiet.

It runs on the old phone in your drawer. I test 14‑hour nights on a 2018 Pixel 3.
